For some reason none of my guns do damage to enemies anymore. At random times none of my firearms or explosives do damage and I take no damage. Makes for a boring game running around virtually invincible as long as I have a sword. Then all of a sudden things will go back to normal for a short time. I'm at level 25 and couldn't kill a feral ghoul with a missile launcher, bottle cap mine or anything other than a sword.
