No Voice Dialog in cutscenes or outside in Wastelend

Hi all, I have been playing Fallout 4 on my Xbox One for over 30 hours and I havent even reached Diamond City yet. Just now I am experiencing in-game audio issues that is truly effecting the game for me. When in cutscenes or scenes where teh characters are talking to one another there is no voice audio that can be heard. enviornmental sound is there but no voice sounds at all. I have subtitles on since the start of my 30 hour adventure and it was just to help with some words I didnt catch in time.

Outside of cutscenes where you can walk up to a NPC like "Mama Murphy" and interact with her, again no voice audio can be heard. In this siutaion, if I move my character to look towards the right the audio can be then heard. If I turn all the way around and face the opposite of the character I intend to talk to, I can hear them fine.

This is extremely frustrating as I just now wanted to get back into the story, and just met a Brotherhood member at a police station. But I could not hear what he was saying about the mission, and I had to stop playing. If I can't hear the charcters how can I get into the story.

I hope someone at Bethesda can help and maybe address this issue. Thank you so much

Cheers!

ok i had this same issue and this method worked for me i got all audio back and this method has also helped solving many other bugs in the game as well. try doing a hard reset on the xbox one console. to do this, hold down the power button on the console (the glowing xbox emblem in front of the console) for 5 seconds wait a min. or 2 and then turn back on the xbox. this should bring back the audio for you. hope this helps you like it did for me.

I had something in my XB1 audio selected that was causing the lack of voice dialog. It was even happening in a 3d blu ray version of Avatar I was just watching. For now I just turned all the XB1 audio options to off instead of like; 5.1 surround sound/dts etc. Thanks
