Questions that need to be answered for Sony players.

Considering the massive debacle that Skyrim was on PS3, I'm very curious (as a new PS4 owner) as to how DLC content and overall updates will be dealt with for Sony users. Frankly, Skyrim's issues were completely unacceptable. How does Bethesda feel about the current programming capabilities on PS4, in regards to Fallout, and are they in the secret handshake with Microsoft again for timed exclusives?

Secret handshake? There was nothing secret about it. Microsoft ponied up the money for the timed exclusive. Sony does it all the time too for DLC and games. If Sony wanted to, they could put the cash there for timed exclusives on the DLC instead of MS.

That's how things work in the industry.

The fact that the PS4 has more memory to work with should be a big boost though.

The fact the ps4 has had superior sales should be a big boost.

Yes, PS4 is stronger than One in most aspects and both use the same architecture so I see no problems here.

Regarding DLC MS used an combination of money and pressure to get time exclusives, this is harder and more expensive now as their marked share is lower.

As a PS3 pre-orderer of Skyrim I was appalled at Bethesda's lack of optimising or general care that the PS3 frame rate was dipping to 3-5FPS. I'm guessing we'll see timed exclusives for Xbox again as well as preferential treatment however, it could change as the PS4 vastly outsold the Xbox.

As a now PC player I will just wait to be probably the last platform to get DLC.

Lets also not forget that both FO3 and Skyrim were broken on release on the Ps3. Even DLC Broken Steel was broken. Even the goty edition was broken.

Just to say as well that Fallout 4 mods have just been confirmed to be coming to Xbox in some format... The deal with Microsoft is strong with Bethesda.

I want to make something clear. No one cares about arguing about whether or not its fair. These questions need to be answered regardless. Their answers or lack there of will definitely effect sales by the aggravated Sony community.
