So I had set the Silver Shroud armour on a table in my house so that I could display it, along with the hat and machine gun. I just got the quest that I need the armour again, and when I went to get it, it was gone. Gun and hat are there, but no armour. Also Grognaks armour was next to it and it is gone. Bethesda technical support said to ask here. Any ideas? I tore down my house to make sure it wasn't under the floor.

I found them. About 100 ft away sitting on the ground. Lesson learned. Use storage.
