so I am about 35-ish hours or so into the game and have been mostly just side questing and such. Somewhere along the line I found Goodneighbor and was given the quest to speak with Bobbi (start of the big dig), among others. Since then I have been questing away and recently, found myself back in Goodneighbor to finally talk with her. Unfortunately for me, I had already completed the Silver Shroud quest line, thus not allowing Bobbi to speak with me through the door for some reason. I have found online that there is a console command you can put in to fix this on PC but I play on Ps4.

Any suggestions? Is this not a bug and just designed like this since I did the Silver Shroud quest line first?

I did the the silver shroud first then the big dig. So i dont know what is wrong with your game.

Interesting. Do you remember if you killed AJ and his body guards? I took the bribe and they still stand out in that ally. I tried quick saving and killing them (thinking maybe Bobbi wouldn't start a conversation with me if there were others in the ally) but to no avail. :/
I even loaded up back to when I was in the middle of the SS quest line (oldest save) and killed them just to see if it made a difference, but it did not.

Do any other quests conflict with Her or The Big Dig itself? Maybe because I helped out Hancock? All help is greatly appreciated!!

Trying to talk to Bobbi through the door in the miscellaneous quest 'Talk to Bobbi' wont work, so the Sole Survivor can't obtain the quest 'The Big Dig.'

Straight from the wiki page. Anyone know of any ways around this? Is it possible to take a quest out of the misc. category? Really don't want to start over almost 40 hours in

UPDATE: I can CONFIRM starting the silver shroud quest before speaking with Bobbi to START The Big Dig will bug the quest out and make it IMPOSSIBLE to get later on. Learn from my mistakes and save yourself the 24 hours of game time I literally just wasted and lost.
