Seriously... I go to report in that I have finished a mission for him he immediately says "Are we ready to take the castle?" and then after I have reported that I have helped a settlement he says the same... damned... thing...

"Blah blah blah... remember to help anyone that needs help blah blah blah."

Every time he repeats it I get closer and closer to Todd's suggestion of "Shoot him in the face if you want to!". Why they hell couldn't have Bethesda put a little more variety into his dialogue instead of the same thing fifty time as if the Last Survivor is a moron that forgets to help people if he isn't reminded at least ten times a day.

Would I use Preston as a companion... Well, rearange these words into a well known phrase or form - "Freezes", "When", "Hell", "Over".

wtf mine just died, I thought companions where suppose to be invincible but a mutant hound killed him and now i can loot him and i cant bring him back

Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't like him. Maybe for different reasons, though.

I started another game because I didn't want to be part of the Minutemen. And Preston is just an annoying goody-goody two shoes, who objects whenever I ask for payment when I risk my butt for others. He can shove his Minutemen up where the sun doesn't shine.

Hah! I was wondering what would happen if you have him along when encountering the impersonator! THAT would have been classic!

I have no idea what i think of his personality, i just can't get past the infomertial level voice acting... absolutely horrible.

Well, maybe I'm not far enough along in story line but I've yet to find him particulary annoying.

However, that said, I did assign him to tend the Trade Post I built in town. Kind of a junk job as I never see anyone coming to his store. I also

note he is often tardy from his assigned station.

Meh, I just wish there was a way to have Sanctuary for myself. I suppose you can leave them to rot in the Museum of Freedom, but now I'm stuck with them on my turf. At least they leave my house alone.

Btw if he is commenting non stop while you are trying to work in Sanctuary, make sure all crops are some distance away and then assign him to them

The problem I am having in Sanctuary at the moment is weird. BLOODY PACK BRAHMIN. They get stuck on the roof of houses, They try to get into my HQ and incidentally block the doorway most of the time so I moved it to another side of the building... AND THEY TRY TO GET IN THERE NOW. They also run around knocking people over lol. They seriously are a menace.

Mom! Preston Garvey is annoying me..... The man wants to take that castle. Then after he won't want anything to do with you except send you to settlements.

Look Preston, I'm the General...you get YOUR azz out there and help the settlements.. Everytime I turn in a mission and want to work on something else, another is in trouble and needs help.

Each time I see him, he is either sleeping or sitting in a char.

Or taking up your workstations for his "chem" projects. Yep no stereotypes in this game.

I think Preston is actually a con man... I think HE is the actual General because I have to report to him after every mission. Why is that... Nobody reports to me... I think I'm being conned into doing Preston's job for him. Grrrrr.
