I've only gone as far as the character creation screen after the cinematic intro. The male character moves his lips but not audio comes out, I can hear the wife fine. I've tried redownloading, and verifying integrity of game cache.

I have the same exact issue. I don't know if it's because I have Gsync or what.

I now know your issue is probably related to your refresh rate. Get it to 60 fps, with whatever means. either by the gefroce control panel or by editing the .ini file in your documents. It solves a lot of issues.
