I have had this issue for the past few hours trying to fix it myself but I am unable to 'ready' any weapons so practically I can't play the game anymore. I have gone into 3rd person and back again, jumped into power armour, gone into build mode and I am still having the same issue. The only other thing I can do is use a previous save but that is when I first came out of the vault which makes the time I have spent on this game go to waste.

I have the same issue... Nothing we can do will solve it. Needs a patch fingers crossed.

Encountered this last night for the first time. Fast traveling to Red Rocket seemed to fix it for me. Can't guarantee it will work the same for you, but just trying to help.
