Covenant *SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T COMPLETED QUEST*

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 12:38 am

I am having trouble 'settling' Covenant. I completed the quest, decided to free Stocktons daughter and I didn't kill the scientist in charge. When I went back, everyone was hostile but Deezer (the lemonade robot) and the turrets. I killed everyone, including the 2 just mentioned, so that nothing was left alive. Once I did this, it showed as cleared on the map and allowed to use the workbench.

The problem is that the corpses and turret carcasses don't seem to despawn, and most things are showing as owned, including the beds. This means that I'm basically stealing everything and even though the beds are showing in my total, they can't be used by anyone because they are still owned.

Will this sort itself out? It is a great settlement, I want to put my own turrets where the old (and not counted) ones were, and be able to use the settlement just like the others. I know you can if you ally with the town, but if everyone is dead and I can now build there, surely it is mine now??

Thoughts please.

If you put "spoilers" in your topic line, it means you should post it in the Spoilers section of the forum.

just wait...activate the workshop...not gonna stop your companion from having a cry about stealing stuff though...also your own settlers attack you if you steal from your own town...so many things in this town can't be moved either. safe to assume that covenant needs a bit more work because it's a buggy mess right now...not to mention it would have been better if it had more to choose from when ending this other than the simple murder or murder

Sounds to me like you didn't do this quest correctly. Don't worry though as I did the same thing. I just reloaded the save and went back and allowed the Doctor experiment on Stockton's "daughter". I did like Honest Dan but made more caps from the doctor and sacrificing two lives for another settlement was fine for me.
