Hey, I've been playing Fallout 4 a bit today. Unfortunately I've been plagued by frequent freezes (every few minutes). The sound will typically continue to play but video will freeze and if I try to interact with the game the typical error is "AppHangB1." I can try to recreate it if need be and copy in the full message.
Here are my specs:
Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU: Intel Core i7 960 @ 3.20GHz
RAM: 20.0GB Triple-Channel DDR3 @ 534MHz
Graphics: 1280MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 (Sapphire/PCPartner)
What I've tried:
-Checked updated graphics card (yes)
-deleted everything in Steam folder except for steamapps and steam.exe, redownloaded all that
-lowest settings
I'm not sure what to do. I'm pretty sure my specs are good enough to handle the game, and it's probably something else but unsure how to resolve.
Thanks!
