I can't progress further in the game!

I've been playing for hours, DAYS even, without even progressing past through the main storyline because of all of the side quests i've been doing (I'm still on the quest to find Nick Valentine). But now i can't go to places because of somesort of "bug".

There was this one point were my companion, Cait, was walking up some stairs and fell through at the "Revere Satellite Array". When she hit the floor she was doing her normal "hurt" animation, but, i could not use a Stimpack to bring here back. Instead, it gave me the usual dialog options that you would have if she was okay (still responding like nothing was happening). I noticed even if i left her somewhere she would be spawned close to me, still laying on the ground.

I dicoverd "Listening post bravo" and made my way into there. I died from the bear thing in the basemant and responded with Cait still a mess. I thought that fast travel, loading into a new area and sleeping would reset her back to normal, which i was right!.... sort of. The problem is now select places i got to (like bravo) crashes the game and sends me back to the PS4 menu. I thought that i could just ignore that area for the rest of the game but it turns out that other locations got messed up too! Going into the subway to meet Nick now crashes the game, thus keeping me from continuing through the game.

So here i am. Anyone know a way to re-set this problem? I REALLY don't want to have to go back and start from a save that goes back a whole day.

I feel you man.
I had that bug happen to me with Piper, after fast travel and sleeping with solved, but I had no crashes after going back to these places.
But I'm also unable to progress on the main quest line because of crash.

Check the link below, and report your problem there too!
Let's get Bethesda to patch this on a update ASAP
