When is Bethesda going to fix all these save game bugs?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 12:03 am

Seriously...I am at the end of my rope with this game. I just lost 2 hours of save data, even though I was getting "Autosaving" every 15 minutes. At the end of it I got this "oh you have a corrupt save file, you gotta clear your system save files" hahahahaha crap. Then when I tried to save, nothing was saving. And every single save I had made for the last 2 hours just went out the [censored] door. These "bugs" are not just annoying, they are downright game-breaking. Not sure about you, but who enjoys playing a game to simply "lose" data because the "cloud" wants to have a blasted crapping match with you? If this isnt fixed by the end of the month, I am selling this game or trying to get a refund. I have played Bethesda games before and always enjoy them, but this game is downright unplayable. And dont give me "just reinstall it." I shouldnt have to reinstall a game 100 times to simply get it to work every so often. I should have to install it ONCE and only ONCE. And whoever's idea the "cloud" was seriously needs to be canned. Great you can log onto another console and play it without being on yours, but what about those who dont have internet access, are having syncing issues with the cloud, etc? Way to rip them off Bethesda. Save files should be saved on the Xbox One console FIRST and then the option should be given to upload them to cloud. Not simply uploading them because it's "convievent." I am a bit irritated with this cloud crap if havent figured it out by now. I have 100Mbps download speed through my ISP and yet for some reason to "sync" with the cloud still takes anywhere from 30 minutes to 5 hours. Yeah you heard that right 5 hours. It hit 99% at around 3 1/2 hours then stayed there for another 1 1/2 hour. This crap seriously needs to be fixed.

My only problem is the screen of the Pipboy is completely blank. It makes all the sounds of working properly but it does not. That means there is no way I can play FO4. Without the PIpboy it is completely unplayable. I haven't played FO4 in over a week because of it. It's killing me because I've done everything that I can think of and nothing works. I spend so much money on this game and I can't even play it. Not cool, Bethesda. Not cool.

At this point, I'd settle for those. But losing 2 hours of save data was frustrating especially with all the exploration I did.

Sad part about it, is Bethesda will not even admit there is anything wrong with fallout 4 and you wont ever see them here on this forum, but yea there is performance issues, save file issues, game crashes and then theres....all the bugs and glitches oh my?

oh I brought up a save file issue concerning cloud and one support tech said "everything is working as intended". So our data being deleted is working as intended or did he mean something else?

I've lost my complete saves twice. One was a days worth of playing had to restart so I got up to 42 and had my base set up and just lost all that again. I have to restart from the vault for a 3rd time

raptor24 if you talked to him here...its not the direct support team who made this game...everyone here administrators and moderators are hired outside of Bethesda, as to the tech guy telling you the truth...your guess is as good as mine, as for myself...I don't trust anyone who I don't no?

no it was through a support ticket...but yeah losing all your data because thewy havent worked out a few bugs in the save files is a bit ridiculous. I mean they've had how many years designing Fallout 4? Quest bugs I can see, but these save bugs should never have been an issue. I've played games that were released in a year time frame through Ubisoft that never had save file issues. There is no excuse for this amount of save bugs PERIOD.

Yep that's the way to do it...ok you did talk to them, but getting them to tell the truth on the performance issues...they will never admit to that, all thow the facts are out there. Happy gaming!
