When I get to the SPECIAL screen I choose my stats but do not see where to input my character's name. When I press R to accept I get the error message "yo must name your character before proceeding. I suspect this is a screen resolution scaling issue. Maybe the name box is off the screen. I have tried different resolutions but it always looks the same. This is very frustrating, please help.

Try using the tab key to jump into the text box... I had to look for it when I got the same msg I think my game is set perhaps a bit too low but until the insertion point cursor showed up in the box after I hit tab I had missed it... Now that I see it fine but not a lot of contrast with the rest of the screen on my machine.
