Feedback and technical issues

(No spoilers in this topic) Fallout 4 for PC - Technical stuff I've observed:

The pipboy interface is confusing, instead of showing all the sub-categories in a section of the pipboy UI simultaneously they only show 3 and you rotate through them with the bumper buttons. This makes it hard to determine how to reach where you want to get to in the UI unless you're well familiar with the interface which takes time to achieve. The older Pipboy system with all the categories visible made it a lot easier to navigate for old and new players and didn't arbitrarily obfuscate stuff for no reason. Edit: If they updated it to always show a minimum of 5 sub-categories for each section of the Pipboy UI instead of 3 that would greatly alleviate this concern of mine.

The Limbs health indicators seem a lot more simplified and less helpful compared to Fallout 3 and New Vegas, no clue what the Lightning symbol means and no clue how to check your Damage Reduction (I assume the radiation symbol means how radiated that body part is/you are). The Limb health gauges seem smaller, harder to see changes in them and less informative as well (No percentage indicator?) So much dead screen space on this UI that could've been used to provide informative information to the user.

The game has rendering/graphics issues/anomalies for various people and the minimum system requirements seem woefully below what is required for a reasonable frame rate even with everything turned off. Admittedly they don't specify a resolution mode in the minimum requirements so they might have tested the hardware at 720p which no one but laptop users play the game at. (Edit: The game plays fine on my hardware. It's just indoor locations that perform poorly, with Vault 111 performing the worst so far)

1) Game Launcher will reconfigure and enable the Borderless Fullscreen option in the games INI file if you make any changes and save. Annoying if you want to avoid the Desktop Window Manager interferring with the games Vsync code and introducing weird visual stutter as a result (Proper fullscreen avoids the DWM).
2) There is no option in the Game Launcher for determining what kind of Fullscreen mode to use, you must edit it in the configuration file.
3) The Game Launcher can not disable God Rays, unless you first choose the global Low detail preset (Available before clicking Advanced). You can re-raise all the other settings afterwards if you like, once the Low preset is chosen God Rays will remain disabled.
4) The view distance slider settings do not correctly match the positioning of the sliders in the in-game configuration menu for the same settings.
5) No option to invert X axis for anolog input and presumably also can't invert it for Mouse input either.
6) Game can't detect both gamepad and keyboard/mouse input simultaneously and the option to disable gamepad input seemingly doesn't allow keyboard/mouse input unless you physically unplug the gamepad.

Abysmal shadow rendering in this game:

- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vDbvoMfYVbY (Severe shadow flickering whenever the shadows move)
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEpq7y_DfNI (Severe shadow flickering whenever the shadows move)
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipcSUBwXgos (Severe shadow flickering whenever the shadows move, shadows are always moving in this example & their extremely pixellated/low resolution even though I'm right next to what their being cast upon)
- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Co9vzJo0P1M (Severely short view distance for high quality shadows, Shadow draw distance is set to High)
Limb Damage Reduction numbers don't change when equipping suits, like the Drifter Suit that covers everything but your head.
- http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=552407886 (This is a visual example of the UI I'm talking about, not of the bug happening)

No visual indication of where some clothing items are equipped to (Like the Wedding Ring for example). This makes it hard to tell if equipping such a thing will de-equip something else.

I can't find a UI telling me the amount of each core material I have (For construction purposes). I can view some when looking at the requirements to build something, but I can't find a general overview of my resources.

Zooming in and out on the map seems inconsistently fast/slow with xbox 360 controller.

Updated my first post to make my first point a little clearer.

Help tips during construction mode seem to appear too frequently, I was getting tips disappearing prematurely in order to show a new tip etc.

No numerical stat telling you how irradiated you are. You can see the level of radiation of the environment you're in, but not how irradiated you yourself is. Yes your health turns red as you become irradiated, but how can you tell exactly how it is affecting your health? Your health in your pipboy doesn't indicate the penalty effect. They could very easily fit a Radiation indicator in the Pipboy display right above your health, there is like a mile of empty space above it.
