Crash area patch coming soon

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 12:55 pm

As the crashing area near Monsignor Plaza goes, apparently the new beta patch 1.2.33 (available on Steam) has fixed this issue to many (but not all) of the pc issuers. It still a beta, but you can be sure as stated by Bethesda, that as soon as it's ready they will be releasing on PC and then console shortly after that.

Here's are the two threads you should keep an eye on:

#entry24588514
(PC thread concerning the crash)

/#entry24588692
(Beta Patch thread concerning the crash)

This crash area involves main quest lines, and side quest so far unable to complete and progress in the game due to the crash

Any idea when the patch is going live on consoles? As far as I know there's a delay between patch releases on PC and consoles.

Thanks for the update. I am keeping my eyes on JoeBBBB's thread, and my fingers crossed that the patch will fix the crash. I crash near Monsignor Plaza on PS4. I'm not even playing because I don't want to advance more and potentially have to start over anyway. 50 hours in and level 20.

You're welcome man
Yeah, I know how you feel. I got 127 hours on mine, and I'm trying to keep playing, exploring around. But its not the same. Feels awful to interrupt a quest. Let alone the whole game because of it :(

any idea whether there's any plans to fix an issue where quests can't be completed? I got the Randolph Safehouse 1 mission, and it's stuck on clear out X location. When I started the mission, I went to the drop zone, picked up the item, and it told me to go to X location to clear it out. The problem is that there was no mission marker... I knew where the location was because I had cleared it out a while ago on my own while exploring, but that shouldn't really affect things since there were enemies in the location when I went back to check it out.

it's really annoying having missions in your list that you can't actually finish because them game is broken.

Yeah, I'm on 43 and already feel kind stale, and even overlevel already for the main quest. Which we are stuck until the patch comes :(
Might even have to bump up the difficulty level to have more of a challenge.

Yeah, I know what you mean, it does feels annoying. I also had minor issues with a few side missions. But maybe that happend because you had already cleaned up the place, Idk. Usually that does affect the game, but usually in a good way.

I got ask to clean up Super Mutants in one place which I already had done, and showed up the option on the dialogue to say it was already done.

But I haven't done that one you said in specific.
Anyways, all fixes on this patch are listed in the thread.

I think the issue is that it didn't even give me a mission marker, but updated the quest line, so I'm not sure whether me clearing the area before had any effect - the fact that there were enemies there when I returned (even the Death Claw I had noped on) is an indication to me that the quest was sort of working.

feel like there is not enough of certain areas of absolute death like in NV they had. Like a massive den of death claws or what ever..have not yet come across anything like that yet.... sadly. Yeah your right maybe time to bump up the difficulty level.
