Monsignor Crash

What is this thread and what is its purpose?

In this thread I would like to create a list with every in-game location where anyone experiences or has experienced the Monsignor Crash. The ultimate goal is that Bethesda can use that list to find whatever it is that is causing the game-breaking crashes and hopefully solve it.

What is the Monsignor crash?

The Monsignor crash is named after Monsignor Plaza, an in-game location where the crash was initially found and reported. It also appears to be the most common location for the crash. However, in this particular area, the crash seems to be solved as of the v1.2.33 patch. The symptoms are these: you arrive in a certain location and after some seconds in this area the game just crashes to desktop, without warning or without an error message.

See this thread for more detailed information: http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1546438-fallout-4-crash-in-specific-area/page-1

If it is already solved, what's the problem?

As stated before: the crash happens in several locations. The beta patch did solve the bug in Monsignor plaza, but not in other areas. It still causes the same crash in different other locations. My hope is that solving the rest is simple enough once Bethesda knows all issue-related locations. They managed to solve it once, why wouldn't they be able to solve it everywhere? Besides, this crash seems to be on all platforms (PC, Xbox and PS) and the beta was only released on PC.

What can I do?

If you do not experience the crash, please don't respond that the game works all right for you. We know some people have this bug and some do not. Unless you are a programmer and think you have figured it out before Bethesda themselves, I doubt you can help if you don't have the bug yourself.

If you do experience the crash, please give the location where your game crashes in the comments. if you want to help even further, go check if you have the same problem in areas where you haven't been before, but where the crash is reported by others, see if you have the same problem in that other location and share those findings. Considering some have this crash on consoles, please mention what platform you are using, maybe this influences something.

I did not have all crashes in all locations, but I have taken the liberty to use other posts in this forum to make an as complete list as possible from the start. If your location isn't in it yey, please do add it in a new post. I would like to ask Emberglow in particular to share his list of 12 locations where his game crashes so we van compare below.

I may try to put these locations on a map, see if there's a pattern or something. Although after digging up all these issues I can't help but think this is a bugged random encounter that happens in these locations.
