Item clipping and changing positions.

I'm sure many of you have had this issue when trying to decorate or place items.

It's nothing new in a Bethesda game, but Fallout 4 is the worse out of all of them in terms of how badly the game handles it.

When you leave or reload a settlement after placing an item, the objects in question tend to randomly fall onto the floor, appear somewhere else, or clip right through the furniture. In some cases you can never get these items again, and you're left with feeling outrage over losing them. It seems like some items work better than others, but if you want a bar, there is little to no luck in placing alcohol on the shelves.

Magazine stands also seem bugged, as magazines either fall through or appear somewhere else entirely. Shelves don't function like they should, as the items tend to clip right through them and fall through the floor. Tables aren't even safe.

What is the point in having furniture for placing items when they all clip or don't stay in place after returning back from a location?

One of the charms in the previous games was the ability to collect items and proudly display them in your household.

Are we now reduced to storing them in containers just to make sure they never disappear or become inaccessible due to some stupid bug that should never have been there in the first place?

You'd think Bethesda would have solved this issue by now.

I hope they patch this major issue soon. It really is a bummer for people that enjoy decorating their settlements or adding a personal flair to their place.

A bottle of Nuka Cola Quantum did this to me. What surprised me the most was that it clipped through 3 tiers of shelving and went through the ground.

That's exactly what I mean.

I really hope they patch these bugs up soon.

It's a real pain in the ass for people who actually take the time to decorate.

Why haven't they resolved these bugs? Couldn't they try improving from their previous games?

Wouldn't they have learned from their mistakes though?

At least set up some bug spray or mosquito nets at the very least.
