House Building

Mini-rant incoming in 3, 2, 1....

Is it at all possible to build a house without 6 different holes in it? I'm about to give up on this feature completely. Third time trying and while I've gotten moderately proficient at building houses they still look like [censored] because corners won't snap to floors or they snap on crooked or I can't put a floor plank down to cover a hole on the second floor ect. ect.

Beth should've just made this like Hearthfire. Anybody got tips? And how the [censored] did the devs manage to make that building in the E3 demo with the building system we currently have? I'm calling bs until someone comes out with a how to video.

This is probably why I avoid the Minutemen. Why add settlements if they all continue looking like post-apocalyptic pieces of [censored]. To be clear it's not the aesthetic that's bothering me, it's just getting the damn feature to work right enough to build something cohesive.
