As far as I know, it doesn't actually have 'Infinate Ammo'. It just means the clip is endless, so you never need to reload. You will still need to purchase ammo and will burn through it quickly.

Go find the wandering vendor that has spray and pray....then you will have the best weapon in the game...have fun

yae i have an explosive shotty got it around lvl 20ish... its not even fair against BOS, armor just pops off and everything else just gets their legs blown off in 1-2 shots

I found a double barrel shotgun that does +plasma damage its pretty cool

I bought mine from the weapon vendor at Diamond City market.

I personally prefer Kellog's 44, as with the good build it is actually infinite VATS.

Can confirm, explosive double barrel. The "Boomstick" has eliminated many legendary foes with a explosive blast to the face. Though they can be tricky in close quarters the explosion can also hurt yourself.

From what I have found the double shot weapons are the best. Have yet to find an explosive shotgun though, but double shot assault rifle hits for about 170 per shot with my current perks, at very high rof with not too much recoil. The double shot plasma rifle is pretty neat too, if I recall it does about 300 damage per shot in shotgun config. And as for the weapon you posted, unlimited ammo in terms of clip size, not free ammo.

shotgun - scoped .44 - fiery laser - plasma submachine gun - sniper rifle - Fat Man when I get frustrated (lol), kneecapper missile launcher - strong back perk (lol again).. throw in some perks for rifles and pistols, loads of death

I have a Wounding Advanced Combat shotgun that 3-4 shots legendaries.

Never ending must be devastating with the shotgun as it has to be reloaded all the time but have very fast rate of fire,

I got the explosive shotgun and moddded it last night which when combined with rifleman has a base damage of 135 and is great at crippling limbs if not killing outright but if the mobs get too close the spash damage will cripple me just as easily... I mod on the drum to my shottys to give them 32 round capacity.

Just wait until you get a double shot weapon or an automatic with bleed on it. You don't know good weapons until you destroy a Mirelurk queen in ten seconds.
