In Fallout 3, You could create Nuka Grenades with Nuka Cola Quantums, and a few other things -

Wondering if anyone's discovered if you can do the same in FO4? Doesn't look that way based on Google results, but figure I'd ask anyway.

I heard someone say no, that the best they found was bottlecap mines (all mines I've tried to use blow up when I place them but I don't have the explosives perk). That's just interwebz reading though.

this is the only way I know to make grenades and the Nuka Nades aren't one. its a shame, they were awesome.

I can check when I am home tonight but I am pretty sure I have a nuka grenade in my inventory. Looted it, didn't make it, but they seem to be in the game, since I also got killed by one, I am pretty sure.

I have a Nuka Nade. Only found one so far.

I rarely used them as weapons in past games. I used them as vendor-fodder early doors.

I found one last night in a scrap yard (Jalberts Brothers).

Yeah, I have one I looted off (I think) a Child of the Atom dude. Perhaps a quest or magazine will give a recipe.

Hopefully it's implemented at some point. I've been hoarding all my nuka cola quantums in hopes they'll be used for something.

Child of Atom corpses are the only place I have found the Nuka-Grenade, also the only place I found a Gamma Gun. I don't know if there are any other ways of finding them.

they're definitely in the game as I've found a nuka grenade and a nuka mine... but I've only found like one of them and I don't remember where. Maybe on aggro child of atom people at some settlement I cleared out. check by the lighthouse on the east coast? I think that's where.
