Some time ago i was trying to play the game while talking in a Ventrilo chat server, so i turned the master volume off. Now everytime i log back in i have to turn it on and it doesnt offer me any chance to save my settings.

Also my quicksave hotkey doesnt seem to be working

Make a copy of your configuration settings in C:\Users\(your name)\Documents\My Games\Oblivion- this file is also named Oblivion. Delete this file AFTER you make a copy. This will cause the game to revert to vanilla settings and you will have to reset your screen resolution and some tweaks like allowing screenshots and border removal. If doing this does not fix your problems you can always reinstall the copy.

Don't have to get quite that drastic.... Does your game crash on exit? If so, make the desired changes, open the console with ` key (just to the left of the 1 key) type in saveini, and hit enter. Should be the end of the problem.
