Help - "The Molecular Level"

In the quest "The Molecular Level", I wasn't aware that I could only choose one faction to help. After looking into each ending, I want to get help from the Railroad; however, I had already chosen the Brotherhood of Steel. I've been looking through the command console for a solution and I believe I found the correct quest ID for The Molecular Level, but I can't seem to reset the quest to its first step. This wouldn't normally be a problem with saves, but I had been quicksaving for the last few days, the oldest of which was after I had already taken the Brotherhood route. The save right after that is all the way back in Concord at the very beginning of the game. So what I need help with is, is there either a way for me to correctly reset 'The Molecular Level' or go back to a hidden quicksave in the game's files? If I'm not mistaken, the quest's codename is MQ206 and it's ID is 000B1752, but I might be wrong.

If it makes you feel any better, it doesn't really matter which faction you choose to help you build your teleporter. The whole point is to get you into the Instutute. After you're in, you're pretty much free to come and go as you please because they want you to join their side, so pick the faction you like the best, let them help you, and then let the rest sort itself out after all of the players are at the table.

Awesome, thanks man! I've made other forums in different places and you're the first one who actually seems to know what they're talking about and giving a straight answer. :) The only thing that svcks about this game being so new is that even the wikia articles and guides for it are still mostly generalized stubs.

Welcome to the Bethesda forums, then. :tops: We do try to serve up straight answers around here, and sometimes we even know what we're talking about. :teehee:
