Small thing I'm wondering about....

During the E3 coverage the Layered Armor system was mentioned. I paused the video at that moment. I know its early and that there was only the vault jumpsuit.

Hopefully the clothing underneath the armor pieces are not SET one piece outfits. Like if you find some awesome pants You have to deal with the shirt since its attached.

The Vanilla Raider armors of Fallout 3 are a favorite of mine. The raiders had shirts/jackets etc on under their armor.

I know info is still kept tight right now but.

Hopefully you can sort of have the Raider style armors or Craft something similar in Fallout 4. Of if shirts underneath are optional.

One piece shirts and pants combos have always felt Forced. "Oh you think that jacket is wicked but you hate the pants Oh well deal with it. It's a one piece clothing set."

I wonder if that is why the new vault suit looks so body clenching? to avoid clipping issues. I hope all undergarments aren't just reskins of the same mesh.

I'm just hoping shirts and pants are separate pieces and not together. Or if they are that there are Fallout 3 Raider style under clothes. Like the Raider Badlands (Tank top bandoleer and cut off shorts) But from jut what we saw it seems like Full shirts and Full pants.

Man, I hope the armor layering applies to more than just the vault suit. I would very much enjoy wandering the wasteland in an armored tuxedo. It would be rather disappointing if they created this whole intricate crafting system and then denied you the ability to slap some armor onto your suit.

Same, All I'm deeply hoping for is the worn makeshift looking raider armor to return. Cause if its all just leather armor after leather armor (Boring)

Guys, calm. Deep breaths. I'm sure Bethesda is intelligent enough to see the potential in layering your armor and apparel appropriately. We might have to svck it up and wear one-piece clothing, but I doubt that Beth is going to limit us to ONLY armoring our Vault Suit. There's a million reasons that some players won't ever WEAR their Vault Suits once they pick up alternative clothing. We also have to consider the processing power of the current gen of console (and gaming chips on PC) and the fact that it can probably handle the weight from having so many clothing/armor options. I have a feeling that we have no reason to worry.

I'm positive Bethesda has Raider Armor sets even...

It would be lame with just leather, combat and power armor.

Well we know you can modify power armor and the vault suit, it look like the rader armor could be modified too.

Main question if I can add extra armor to an pink dress or lab coat.

They did layering before too. In Morrowind you could wear pants and a shirt under your armor. Would be great to see that return.
