Fallout Shelter Clues

So, I recently started playing Fallout Shelter. It occurred to me that some of the features in that game have been shown in Fallout 4. For example, the thing about radiation lowering your health bar, which we've seen in Fallout 4 gameplay footage, is a feature in Fallout Shelter. Anywho, that leads me to believe that we can glean some information about Fallout 4 from Fallout Shelter. Maybe the randomly generated vault dweller names that we see mirror the list of common names that they recorded for Codsworth to say. Maybe the weapons and armor that we find are representative of what we'll see in Fallout 4. Flimsy speculation is this forum's milieu, so if we put our heads together, we might be able to piece together some information about the game we're going to see in November. I, for one, recently acquired an 'Amplified Alien Blaster' in a lunchbox. Maybe that means we'll see some alien weapons again. The girl I sent out into the wasteland several hours ago acquired a lever action rifle and a revolver, so maybe they'll be in the game. Please, share your experiences.

If I could keep the game running on my IPhone without it crashing on me, I'd experiment with that.

We also have a food, water, power, happiness, and safety bar when creating our shelters... similar to that found in Fallout Shelter.

Lets hope the constant crashing I'm having isn't an omen of whats to come for FO4, but besides that I hope the radroaches aren't as incredibly jacked in fallout 4 as they are in this. I had a room get an infestation with 6 dwellers, 2 of which had power armor, a minigun, and a laser rifle which I thought were more than enough to handle the situation.

Everyone in the vault died that night.

Not sure what hardware you guys are running it on but you need at least a Pad2 or Phone5. My 4s cannot run it at all. In point of fact the thing usually superheats before the game can crash.

Someone pointed out that low level characters had low average SPECIAL stats and higher level characters had higher SPECIAL. Todd mentions that the bar and classroom are used to train Charisma and Intelligence.

We also know we start FO4 with not many SPECIAL points, so we'll either be leveling them up or training them in some way during the game.

In regard to armors... it looks like the Lonesome Road version of the New Vegas L.A.P.D. Riot Gear/NCR Ranger armor is present in Shelter as Merc Gear. Take that for what you will.

Yeah, that was my problem. The game will launch on my 1st generation Ipad, but it crashed constantly. ITunes says nothing at all about system requirements for Fallout Shelter too, a mistake made on Apples end since it was plainly stated what the game needed to run.

I REALLY want to buy a new Ipad just to play this game, but I find the cost of $300+ a little steep to run past my significant other.

Which means I have no choice, I will have to mug someone for their Ipad 3.

Me: Hey there! What generation is that Ipad?

The Victim: Oh, it's a Gen 3, got it a few days ago.

WACK!

(Just kidding of course. :P )

I have a 43 person vault and I think that the only real hint at Fallout 4 is the radiation system. The weapons and armor seen in the game all were in FO3 and New Vegas, as best as I can tell.
