I suspect you're getting a blue screen. Windows defaults to automatically restarting the computer when that happens. You have to manually set the option to display the blue screen. It can include some good information that'll be important to figuring out where the problem lies.

Right click on My Computer/This PC and then go to properties. From that screen, head over to Advanced System Settings. Click the Settings button under the Startup and Recovery section. Uncheck the box to Automatically Restart.

Now, head on over to your Event Viewer using the search function on your Start Menu. Check out the Application logs and see if there's any information regarding the crashes in there under the Applications section.

Also, your system specs like Alexerin stated will be of big help too.

Hmm, it sounds like a *compomemt in your computer starts to fail. Difficult to judge as it happens after a long time.

So you have any heat related problems ???

*It could be RAM, CPU, Mobo, PSU, or GPU as well.

This is not a hardware issue.

Since this same thing started happening yesterday I've been looking through all the forums for others with the same thing.

So far, this issue respects no graphics card (I have a 980ti, others have everything from AMD and nVidia).

My system is watercooled, and I just did a 100% CPU and 4500fps load test for 15 minutes and nothing got above 40C.

For some, its just entering a specific area, for others its triggered by saves, and for me (and others) its completely random in 15-30 minute intervals.

Running into the same problem. But my crashes tend to be when I'm "instanced" into a "sub-world" they will also happen when I am walking around the CommonWealth(open world), but not as frequently, have tried viewing event viewer, and a multitude of other things, but nothing seems to help the issued. Not an overheating issue with me as well. The game auto defaults my settings to High, I was playing in low-medium settings for ~4 hours with no issues. And have played with medium-high settings for ~1 & 1/2 hours with no issues, but as soon as I go through a loading screen into a sub-world my system will crash and reboot.

Do what ENBDev and I said in your other thread. Keep as many programs from launching when you start. Just bare bones programs and Steam. That's it. Then restart your computer, and see if the issue persists.
