SLI Profile? Please post SLI bits!

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 8:25 pm

There have been numerous reports of people using the Fallout 3 SLI bits via nVidia Inspector to get SLI to even work on this game. Others have tried enabling Alternate Frame Rendering 2. I haven't found a single method that gives any sort of SLI scaling, in the least.

If you have some SLI bits or a setting that can be tweaks via nVidia Inspector that will get SLI to work, with proper SLI scaling (performance that doesn't svck), then PLEASE POST IT!

I am SLI active using the SLI bits from fallout new vegas, there are multiple changes that have to be made, not just alternate frame rendering. Guide is easy to find with google, even some youtube's out there. I can't post links, or I would just link it.

How is that even possible when Fallout 4 uses direct X 11? And even when I try these SLI bits, my FPS boggles down to 11-12 FPS!

Try these NVIDIA Inspector settings, guys, straight from the Data Vault thread:

Open http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/nvidia-inspector-download.html, click on the http://imgur.com/a1oup2f, then in the newly opened window search for Fallout 4 from the http://imgur.com/EAj0pAI and configure the settings bellow as follows:

SLI compatibility bits (DX1x): 0x080202F5 (Batman: Arkham City)

SLI compatibility bits: 0x00000000

Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration: Single display performance mode

Number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode: SLI_GPU_COUNT_TWO

NVIDIA predefined number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode on DirectX 10: SLI_PREDEFINED_GPU_COUNT_DX10_TWO

NVIDIA predefined number of GPUs to use on SLI rendering mode: SLI_PREDEFINED_GPU_COUNT_TWO

SLI rendering mode: SLI_RENDERING_MODE_AUTOSELECT

Remember to click on the "Apply changes" button in the top-left corner and you are good to go! Please let me know if these work well for you as well, since http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1543988-a-data-vault-of-tweaks-and-fixes-for-the-pc-version/page-7#entry24528684 has nothing but praise for them. :P

Thanks for posting this, but just like every single "SLI fix" that I've tried it doesn't work. My FPS is stuck at 30-34 FPS in the very beginning where you customize your character (the house with your wife and whatnot).

I've even turned the graphics all the way to the lowest setting, and at 5760x1200 the game runs really, really badly. It's kind of a joke to be honest, the game doesn't look any better than something like Far Cry or Grand Theft Auto V, and runs twice as badly.
