Gross.
eh doesnt really bother me, just as long as they dont have the guy who voiced the outsider in dishonored do any voices in this game. i just can not stand that voice its worse than Hemskir. I also got turned of the guy who use to do the voice for the PC in thief due the how many [censored] characters he was used in. I also couldnt stand to play as a female Norn in Guild wars 2 because the voice was the same voice of aela and half of skyrims female characters.
Must... resist... ad hominem.
Lucien Lachance had the perfect voice of hammy epicness!
Would have loved Laura Bailey or Veronica Belmont for the female voice. Those two have awesome sounding voice first, and are pros at channelling emotion through a character. They made various NPC's in FNV and also Vera Keyes' voice.
Farengar was meh, but you do realize that the whole point of Heimskr was https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/heimskur, right?
Because alot of people do want it. You are what is call a vocal minority, you are the type of person that comes to a forum to complain about a feature
People that are happy generally don't make any noise because they are content.
What would you have preferred, them to spend literally 100x more on getting a big Hollywood name like Johnny Depp?
"No I wanted no voice"
Yes yes, you and the other vocal minority
Their previous low key roles do not indicate poor voice actors. Everyone at some point needs a big break or their first big project, not everyone walks into a blockbuster role straight away. Alot of very talented people plug away for years
Yeah blow a huge chunk of their budget to get Patrick Stewart, use him for 10 minutes and 10 lines = profit
Oh boy. I can't wait for that awfully translated Italian version of the game, that however has really good voice actors (Bethesda games are the only ones with good Italian voice actors, but the translation is...well it's OK, but not that great).
If given the choice to purge one faction from TES canon, I really don't know whether I'd choose the Dark Brotherhood or the Stormcloaks--but I'd lean towards the former.
I did exaggerate a little, though. I didn't really have a problem with male or female Redguards or male Imperials. Female Bretons and female Imperials were okay. Female elves were fine; male elves were fine...for Bosmer. It was female Nords/Orcs, male Dunmer (what happened to that awesome "I smoke fifty whiskey-infused cigarettes a day" voice ), and male Bretons that really made me cringe...
I lost count on how many times i played through Mass Effect(2 especially),you are totally right. Also having Jacks voice for the female character wants me to play the women.
The female voice actor looks qualified.. Curious about the male though. I don't mind them wasting money on voice actors, but never really thought that it was necessary. Will be interesting to experience the games with them.
