Bethesda, don't pull a WB

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 1:51 pm

yeah somehow i don't think Obsidian Entertainment cares anymore they did do an ok job with support i guess.

but look at fallout 3 then at skyrim as time goes on BGS get better on fixing their games so i don't think it will be as much of an issue with fallout 4

Yep. They're improving. Skyrim was pretty good, honestly, in comparison to the bug-fests old gamesas games like Daggerfall and Battlespire were.

True, but it was Bethesda Softworks was in charge of QA, and the publisher decides how much money they are willing to spend on patches.

Though it was Obsidian who made the bugs in the first place :hehe: Well, those that weren't inherited from the engine anyway.

Well regardless, as always when a "Bethesda" is involved, use http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/51664/?

I hope a team or a dedicated individual takes that up for that for F4 too.

You know whats sounding more awesome as time goes on? Having a console. Haven't had a single issue with Arkham Knight.

True we can't play mods... oh wait... Well, we can't make our own yet so that's something I guess.

Compared to Batman: Arkham Knight's bugs and issues, Bethesda games are practically flawless.

I mean, when was the last time a major game like that got such a user rating on Metacritic?

Won't happen, they don't outsource their port to a crappy company.

I'm pretty sure Beth is doing the PC version in house. Now if it's not greatest port because of consoles instead of outsource, that will probably be the reason. I think it's going to be different this time and Fallout 4 will hardly have any issues.

Exactly. So long as we're all treated poorly equally, all is right with the world!

I rmeember when I installed Fallout 3 and forgot to patch it. I walked into Megaton and Nova was stuck up to her waist in the floor of a bridge, with townsfolk standing in a circle around her, as if to offer advice about soaping her up to make her slide out.

Certainly fine tuning and enhancing a game engine should be less buggy than creating one whole cloth like in Skyrim.

I'm hopeful that if Fallout 4 is buggy, it will because they reached too high.

Lol, they just outsourced the PC Port to some random gaming company. They did the same thing with Mortal Kombat. Obviously, Bethesda would never do something like that.

Thats pretty much what I said.

But just so you know it wasn't some random company. It was the same people that did arkham origins for pc.
