So after rescuing Vadim with Travis I can no longer use the speak option when talking to any companion. Trading items with them seems to only work sometimes. Most of the time, using either option will have them display the proper answer but do nothing. Like, they'll say what they would normally but won't actually do anything. The only way to dismiss a companion now seems to be talking to another one and having them join me.
Is there any way to fix this? I'd be losing at least 5 hours of progress if I had to go to an older save (yeah, [censored] who didn't do a hard save every hour or so checking in).
I believe the bug was caused by Travis being your companion for the duration of the quest. Also, the camera will totally bug out sometimes when talking to NPCs since my companions became bugged.
I recommend you guys NOT to do this quest at this time, as there's another bug related to this quest which makes you and some characters immortal, thus rendering the mission unfinishable.
Any help would be appreciated.
