I'm setting up defences at some of my settlements.

However, given my desire for strategic placement, it means the guard tower or artillery cannon is frequently away from the walking paths of the settlers.

Which means I have to keep using workshop commands to get them close enough to the defense construction in order to assign them to work at it.

But whenever I shut down the workshop interface to follow them (while workshop command is active, the player character cannot move!) to their current target point, they start walking back the way they came, meaning I have to keep using the command to stop them leaving on a regular basis.

I'd much rather it was like Fallout Shelter, where you just grabbed the NPC and dragged them to the desired work area without distance being a factor.
