INFURIATING QUEST GLITCH! *Spoilers*

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 1:03 pm

I cannot digress how much rage is in me right now! Bethesda is not responding, and neither is the community. Here is the deal, to whom it may concern:

I am on the quest "Dangerous Minds" and no matter how many times I try and reload my saving points, Doctor Amari does not play her cutscene when I get out of the mind chamber. This is the eleventh time I tried. I tried all sorts of shortcuts and counter-ways to avoid this glitch, but my luck is at zero.

Please, for the love of all bloatflies, please help or patch this glitch so I can continue with the main story line.

I got past this scripting glitch by performing a melee attack on Dr. Amari which turned the entire building hostile but updated the quest and triggered the game to autosave my new quest progress - all I had to do was stay alive long enough for it to finish saving. When I died and reloaded, I was now standing in front of Dr. Amari, and she was saying the dialogue she was supposed to be saying.

It's worth a try.

Thank you for the suggestions, but I found a way through console and completing the quest.

I wouldn't call it "cheating" since I wasn't really given a choice.

Does anybody know the console command to start the glowing sea quest?

Assuming you used the console command to advance the quest - be careful. Some people have reported that using that command for this bug, has caused an essential NPC in the next quest to not show up.

This is really bothering me again. I "completed" the quest, and found the console command for the Glowing Sea quest, yet it won't let me start it...

Developers. I'm going to go whisper to a deathclaw.
