I'm now working on getting Strong's Affinity high enough to get the associated Companion Perk.

But as I'm running low on missions, I need a way to do this without actually doing any of them.

I want to save as many as I can for Cait, given she is the last one on my list and therefore, will need whatever is left to do for her Affinity.

Does anyone know how I can raise Strong's Affinity without exploring any areas that will invalidate future missions or doing the missions I have remaining?

Apparently with Cait you just fast travel around different settlements nakey and it'll max out pretty sharpish, dunno if it's a bug or exploit. Haven't found cait yet.

No, it's not a bug or an exploit, that is a quirk particular to Cait.

Because it's specifically for Cait, it has no effect on Strong or anyone else.

And if you try this with X6-88, you lose his Affinity!

He doesn't like it.......

He likes it when you help people, but it seems a bit arbitrary on which people you help.

The easiest way i found was being a cannibal. though he will remind you that humans taste better when left out to hang for a few days

Strong likes you helping people but being a thug about it. Say for instance painting the wall blue instead of green with the reply "blue looks better".

Just pick answers you think a big oaf would say...


Aside from that he also enjoys fighting and violence. He also gets bonus affinity from cannibalizing.


For other companions, codsworth and Preston like you modding weapons/armor.

Danse likes you riding vertibirds and getting into power armor.



Cait likes when you pickpocket, open locks, and pop drugs.

Hancock likes drugs too.

I don't use the Cannibal perk, so that is not an option.

Fighting seems like the best choice, if I can find enough of it without impacting the main storyline or future missions.

Is there anywhere in the game where random enemies frequently respawn?

Preferably a lot of them for maximum killcount.

And please do not discuss strategies for the other companions.

I only want to discuss Strong here, anything not about him is offtopic and irrevalent to this forum topic.

Yo, chill out. Was just giving examples. Outside of missions it's kinda difficult to raise his affinity without cannibalism.

Avoid going into power armor, and lock picking, when strong is around.
