So when is there a new patch coming to fix broken perks?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 10:56 am

Seriously, one of the companions gives out 95 percent hit accuracy in vats all the time with his 20% accuracy hit perk even when I'm super far away, is this broken? What's taking the patch so long? I feel like a cheater going into vats now, I'll have to ignore it until they fix it.

MacCready's Killshot perk is supposed to give a 20% head shot bonus.

If its anything like skyrim they will never change the perks, those are locked in at launch so people don't change their builds.

That is not technically true. Smithing was over hauled near the beginning due to being able to level to 100 very easily by making iron daggers.

Then hope it will get modded back to normal.

And we are talking about a companion perk not a regular perk.

If it's functioning as intended then it's not broken. If you feel like a cheater, that's on you.

Minus it's not working as intended.

It should give +20% to VATS, not 95% even when you should have about 10%.

To be exact it's a simple code problem: they wrote +20 instead of +0.2 so you get 100x intended bonus.

Unless, of course, they actually meant it to be additive and simply explained it badly.

It is additive, it's just that +20 in coding isn't actually +20% but +2000%.
