BoS Ruining The Game For Me.

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 1:30 pm

Seriously, they keep coming and coming with their freaking vertibirds to [censored] up [censored] EVERYWHERE. I can't sneak properly anymore, can't snipe like I'm used to.

And to top it off, I was supposed to meat a Courser at said point, the BoS show up as well and guess what. They kill all the raiders I was supposed to kill, and on top of that they keep shooting the Courser, which makes me unable to talk to him. I don't -WANT- to kill BoS (YET.) but this seriously is ruining my experience. Please tell me at some point they stop going all over the wasteland with their vertibirds, please. It's so damned annoying and breaks my immersion completely.

heh I actually like the bos showing up in force. Have you tried leaving that area and coming back later? Or if your on a pc, just use the console to disable those attacking npcs.

They never stop. Seriously, you can shoot down a Vertibird without it turning them hostile. I've taken loads out and their still friendly.

Also, if your sniping an enemy and it says your detected because of the Vertibird I don't think it matters, not sure but detection is enemy specific or I assume so cause I can get sneak bonuses whilst some enemies are cautious.

EDIT: Also kill all the BoS.

Yeah... I'm going to kill all of them. After I bring down that air ship of theirs, do the vertibirds stop coming then?

Semper fi.

The detection system works more or less like this. If you are Detected, that just means that a "friendly" NPC/mob can see you. Now if a hostile mob/NPC sees you, you wont get "Detected" but rather [Danger]. If they hear you or know you are there, but cant find you, you get [Caution].

Cant tell you the amount of times, I have charged down a street simply to help the BoS erradicate a threat. Course I am a Sentinel with the BoS so was well worth it

Yeah same way here. I actually want a mod that increases the health of virtibirds. As it stands its always a rush of saving them before some raider with a pipe rifle brings it down.

One time I was passing by a place and I hear gunfire and explosions. I look over and I see a vertibird dropping BoS onto a point.

This was my commentary."

"Ah, well looks like someone [censored]ed up."

"...Okay, that seems a bit overkill..."

"Alright, let's just...Let's just bomb the whole building...I mean, you only got a few of your own in there..."

"Wow...You guys are really going to town...You know what? You guys do you. C'mon Hancock."

The BoS do not half-ass when they wanna kill that Mirelurk.
