Fallout 3 bundled with Fallout 4 purchase?

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 1:53 pm

http://www.gamespot.com/articles/fallout-4-and-fallout-3-bundle-announced-as-xbox-o/1100-6428115/

The question is, is this an enhanced port of 3, or just Fallout 3, the 360 version, just made backward compatible?

I personally think it will just be a backwards compatible deal, but if not this opens the door for Skyrim to be ported over as well. I doubt Bethesda will go definitive/remaster route for their first party developed games, but with them seemingly wanting to be the next Blizzard, TES Hearthstone clone / TES MMO, who knows?

What is everybody's opinion on this? Port or just a bc 360 version?

I did a search for this topic on the forums, didn't find anything, so sorry if this has been clarified already.

I'm guessing just backwards compatible like all the other games on the list.

It's not ideal but its a lot better than nothing.

it's just going to be a backwards compatible deal, most likely. it probably won't run any better since it's on a xbox 360 emulator. :\

I'm pretty sure it's just vanilla FO3 that was made backwards compatible.

It's good for people that have yet to play 3, I guess.

There's a whole host of games getting BC.

Mass effect was the only one they showed at e3, but any title with the green light from developers will be able to run.

Maybe, depends on how good Microsoft's emulator is.

it didn't look great. mass effect looked like it was running worse than it did on 360.

Actually Mass Effect looks better and runs better on the One than the 360. Mecha-Potato-Alex on YouTube does a side by side comparison of both versions. I would post a link to a Kotaku article about it, but I can't I guess.

I think it is great that Fallout 3 comes with 4. If what Microsoft has said is true, then DLC will work and saves that are on the cloud! I will play 4 right away. Then do a 3 straight into 4 play through.
