Although I agree it's inclusion might damage the great singleplayer game these are meant to be, and I would not like to see that.

That said, I was secretly hoping for a GTA V style seperate game state where one could take on the wastes as a team, or nemesises..neme.. nemessess... rivals.

Fallout Online by Zenimax Online Studios.

Calling it right now! :P

Interesting he said 'every game' so Skyrim or even Oblivion almost had a co op mode.

After the whole a ESO mess ( a mess that took a year to fix, and its still is meh) I wouldn't expect another "online" for sometime, if at all.

Yes its interesting as I have problems seeing coop with the way the it looks like the game work. Yes I know people has moded in an primitive multiplayer but something real functional would be far harder with lots of both software and practical problems.

Note that the multiplayer part was very early and did not have to take care of quests perhaps not even persistent objects.

He never said it was. But it was at least partially financed by Zenimax and reflected badly on both Zenimax and Bethesda. Another shot, especially by the same company, would be foolish.

i know that, but as rosveen said, made both of the company's look foolish. To be honest they should of never let them attempt something like a MMO (to my knowledge) they haven't made any note worthy games, and beth just let's them take ES and try to make a MMO out of it? Stupid.

I'd like to know about the game engine. Up to this point, the engine they've used has been built from the ground up for single player. That's why, afaik, no one has ever made a co-op mode that functioned well.

Considering that Zenimax created Zenimax Online Studios, it would have been rather strange that they made another game of any kind. The studio was created to make ESO.

I still think it would be nice if another person could control your companion.
