i dont have fraps installed, i have the newest nvidia drivers, nothing else is really running in the background, and the options in both steam and the game settings say the overlay should be working.

so why arnt they? i tend to take a lot of screenshots of games when i play and store them on my steam, but now i cant =/ and its annoying not being able to see when i earn achivements. im still getting them, but without the overlay i dont get that little window telling me. anybody have any ideas? i've tried posting this on the steam forums, but holy crap it moves so fast there nobody ever sees it!
