So this fantastic new Pip-Boy.... does the rad meter work or will I have to look at the one on the TV to find out how many rads I have?

I 100% doubt it'll work. There will most likely be a way to see it in the pip boy app though.

LOL, remember then we looked at an Geiger counter on school. Some tried to blow at it and thought it was broken because it was no increase.

Putting an actual Geiger counter in there would be awesome-- unnecessary...but awesome. But probably would be really expensive to put in a plastic video game promotional item.

You guys.... I don't mean A REAL freakin geiger counter... I mean interfaced to your phone so that it works with the second screen experience.

You see I noticed that in the image from the Bethesda E3 show it shows as this...

Note that the needle isn't on zero yet when you go to buy the thing the promotional images show the thing pointing to zero. If you can buy interfaces to DJ turntables for phones (ie DJay 2) then it's possible. You can control music tracks via the remote on your headphones which could be used with the selection knob for example.

Now I doubt it would be but you never can tell. It's probably going to be nothing more than a huge mobile phone case.

ok after your last statement i understand its a dial on the OUTSIDE of the screen, while i agree it would be cool i doubt it would work as it seems your phone doesnt actually plug anywhere into the pip boy and it is just a hunk of plastic to tie your phone to your wrist.

Would be neat though if there was some way to manipulate your phone through the dials on tthe pip boy
