Better interior maps

One thing who has been an major annoyance for me since Morrowind is the horrible internal maps.

They have two problems, first they tend to be blurry, making it hard to see much, this is more true in typicla Fallout locations like office buildings with thin walls than the underground dungeons in TES.

Second issue who is worse and make it an serious mess is that all the floors are just pasted on top of each others.

This will make the map pretty pointless if we get larger, more high-rise buildings.

In short I hope for an map who at least maps each floor as an separate map and let us page up and down.

The way maps work is basically like a plan view photograph taken when you enter the map. That's why they're hard to make out sometimes, because nothing below another object can be seen.

It would be cool if they changed how that worked, but I guess it's because their maps don't really have levels. You can build a level of any pattern or shape with zero constraints. Unlike other games that have designated floors or levels.

Cell maps.
The problem is not unique to gamesas either.
Many an old game had this same problem even when using an isomorphic view.

Now the daggerfall maps was fun :)

if impossible to split map in floors, most houses are divided into floors, caves is less of an problem, an low res 3d model might work better, this might be pulled directly from the model.
