Moving objects + building cities

I love being able to pick items up in fallout 3

But sadly you cannot move containers. In fallout 4 it would be awesome to be able to move dressers, desks,
fridges, ammo boxes, metal boxes, alien containers nukacola machines, excetra....

Into your home or wherever. For more advanced storage sorting..

But it would also be awesome to build your own cities. .

Once you pick a spot and build your home. You could scavenge items to build more homes, once a valid home is built you create a deed to that home, you can then give or sell to anyone you meet in the waste land..

There is tons of junk in the fallout world to build with. And there could be junk vendors that sell rare items. Like airplane wings.. sliding doors.. even the iconic Megaton replica atom bomb from fallout 3..

Your city would be under constant attack from super mutants and raiders so having good citizens that can fight. And tall walls is a must..

Just a few ideas I thought would be awesome in the fallout universe

You build your own furniture, I'm pretty sure. I don't think my pockets will be able to handle a fridge and bedroom set.

Did you watch the E3 video? Because about 70% of what you said has already been confirmed to be in the game.

I'm pretty sure you'll be able to make and move containers. I mean, you can make a friggin' laser turret, so I doubt a box would be that big of a deal to make.

No I haven't watched the e3 video.

I just found out about fallout XD

I rented the fallout 3 game of the year edition from red box

Then went out and bought it.. I haven't even made it to 3dog yet but already finished mother shipzeta

I Googled to see if there was a fallout 4 and saw there was new vegas..

And I am just in time for 4..

I will checkout the e3 video now

As for the fridge.... of course it won't fit in your pocket you have to drag that mother across the wastelands lol

Well welcome to the Fallout series then, if you have a PC you could play the old games.

You had better start playing. Fallout 3 and NV are huge games if you want to take everything in. And you have only got months to go.

Yes, those ideas you suggested are what we have wanted for years. Awesome that Beth will allow us to house build by placing items where we want rather than using existing themes.

Should be cool to see what people can come up with in the mod world.
