I've now to to the stage where I am getting enemies wearing power armour.

I have a load of power armour pieces but cannot work out how to make them wearable.

I go to power armour stations but I am having trouble putting them together.

Is the power armour you get in concord really the only wearable type or am I doing something wrong?

I want a second set of armour so that my human companions can wear it.

Just searched the net. Turns out I need to find a power armour frame.

Yes and there are plenty of frames laying around; I think I now have 5 sitting around after very few game hours.

Explore, and keep an eye out for anything military. Chances are you'll find a frame close by.
