EnemyNPC Ideas

My first idea is Mister Turret (ENEMY). Top half turret, bottom half Gutsy/Handy. Whichever half you don't kill first becomes it's own entity and attacks respectively.
My second idea (NPC) is just Service Bots. They'd be deployed in certain Fast Food areas and maybe a few Grocery Stores as baggers or cashiers.
Lastly, Power Mutant. Super Mutant Overlord with a mechanized right arm and right side of skull. Would be able to VATS player, causing everything but the PM to slow down dramatically. This could be counteracted by VATSing the PM but would waste 50% of your Action Points. Likewise, the PM can cancel out your VATS by targeting you (If you are detected.)

Which means, great idea!

Bloat Cazadores. Cazadores that can shoot projectiles at you. As if regular Cazadores weren't a pain already...

I just want them to create proper raider gangs that have their own feel to them rather than just here's some generic bandits. I could honestly take it or leave it when it comes to new creatures and robots and stuff. It's not like it'd be that difficult. Leather Thugs, wear leather armors and usually use submachine guns, pistols and shotguns. Night Riders, use clothing/armor that is very biker'ish and use rifles and shotguns primarily. Blood Cultists, use robes with armored padding and pieces strapped on and use primarily melee weapons and energy weapons.

Not the most creative, but it's better than just "raider".

It's been 200 years. There was large-scale nuclear destruction. What part of humanity didn't seek shelter in some kind of bunker died or lost much of it's scientific knowledge.

So how would these servant type robots have survived all this time? Furthermore Mr.Handy is exactly that kind of bot.

Mr.Turret sounds badly designed and not fitting into the setting.

Power Mutant sounds like Warhammer 40k Orks.

I'd rather we see genuinely new and interesting enemies, based more around mutation. We have deathclaws, radscorpions, cazadores, giant rats, giant insects, crab-people... let's continue along those lines.

Super Mutants are already super. Then Bethesda topped super with Behemoths (which imho didn't fit very well). No need to make them cybernetic as well. They were a failed "breed" of man that should slowly die out.

Ghouls are the memory of the past, leftovers from another time. They seem to slowly go out as well, by way of mental degradation (in other words they seem to go bonkers with time).

Bots we have a various shapes, but here the mindset should remain that it's limited to 1950 retrofuturistic ideas. No megabots, no transformers etc.

Which brings us to the cybernetic as introduced by Bethesda. Personally I don't see them fitting well with the setting itself. But new games need new enemies and it's ultimately in Bethesdas hands.

Tower Armors. Normal Enclave / Brotherhood soldiers with heavy ass turrets resting on their heads or traps and fire missle-sized Balista lasers (Brotherhood) or Plasma (Enclave). Slow moving but accurate and painful.

Three-Dog. A Cerberus. That's pretty much it. A poor man's Yao Guai.

Wannamingles. Wannamingos that dance around the wasteland and don't give a damn even if they're attacked.

Threatclaws. Raiders with Deathclaw-based clothing, gauntlets and other makeshift weapons made from deathclaw hands.

I have no problem with the Behemoths as they at least added variety to the gameplay but what was the deal with turning all of them into Dumdums who want to eat humans?
Such a stepdown from seeing them from guards to actual members of the community (Broken Hills). Disgraceful.
They deserved to be made fun of by Tabitha.

1. The majority of Service Bots would be inactive, mostly for background, but occasionally you could find some restored (for shops in settlements) or some still active (welded to the standing areas of cash registers or the pumping areas of Gas Stations) They would be just as likely to remain intact as any other robot.
2. Mister Turret is designed to be a hodge-podge, created by those who are skilled in science, yet desperate or creative, or both. They are often deployed as "guard dogs" in lower grade colonies, made from scraps of other robots, but can occasionally be found in some higher class society (Lower grade Mister Turrets would be a cross between Mark 1-3 Turrets and Mister Handy, the higher grade ones would be comprised of Mark 4-5 Laser Turrets and generally attached to a Mister Gutsy.)
3. Power Mutants would be deliberately few in numbers. Maybe 2 or 3 in the whole game. They would be science experiments for The Institute and be deployed in certain regions to test their combat effectiveness to decide as to whether or not further progress regarding technology which would combine Prosthesis and Mechanized Weaponry should be pursued.
ROUGH DESIGN OF MISTER TURRET ->
