Hey

So I am encountering a weird error I can't resolve. I did try to troubleshoot this myself, but after doing a complete uninstall + clean reinstall of the game which has not resolved the issue, I am left with no product functionality and little options. I tried submitting a ticket to support and I was redirected here, so here I be.

This error occurred first while I was tweaking the graphics in the options for the launcher because of some framerate issues (please note: I did not do any manual edits of game files, only the built-in methods of adjusting graphic quality). Upon trying to start the game, the launcher disappears for a moment, steam pops up and tells me its preparing my game for launch, things look as if they are happening normally, and then, lo and behold, the launcher reappears. And just keeps reappearing, every time I press play, without Fallout 4 ever actually running...

I have/had a video of it I've uploaded which I tried to link, but when I tried to link it with the link button in the forum tools here, it broke my browser and I lost my post (2nd time writing this, apologies if it seems rushed). For some reason I can't even paste the link here either, nothing happens like I have nothing on my clipboard, which I definitely do. (finding a lot of bugs here today guys)

I'm having the same exact issue, and I didn't change any of the graphics options.

I definitely was able to play the game, in fact I had almost 2 hours logged on Steam playing Fallout 4 and now, seemingly out of nowhere, (just from changing graphic options) I can't run the game. I thought I was clever, doing a clean reinstall of the game. The error persisted though reinstallation tho, and has now become my Fallout 4 nightmare.

Infinite launcher loop: you can look but no play!
