Way to tell which quests repeat and which have an "end&#

So my understanding is that there are some quest chains that don't actually end but will recycle.

Is there a list somewhere of these?

I don't want to keep going and going on something that won't ever stop.

Do some of these quests reward you at some point with something special and then just repeat or do they all just randomly assign places to go?

The only repeating quests I have come across so far are Settlement based. I have about 8 established Settelments and from time to time I will be told that one of them is having a Raider/Ghoul infestation problem (not an attack) You go there and talk to one of the settlers and they tell you where and what the problem is,

If anyone else knows of others I am interested. Easy way to make exp and gather more junk for better settelments :)

BoS has scavenge missions where you escort a scribe on his duties. You can also turn in tech docs you find but that's not a mission. I hear Railroad and institute may have a similar repeating jobs. And Hancock in Goodneighbor sends you out to scout locations and pays 200 caps.

I was wondering if Hancock gives more. He sent me to check out a house that ended up being the house of a serial killer with body parts everywhere. Does he send for you or do you have to check in on him from time to time to get the follow ups?

Do the ones that repeat maybe also repeat the quest name?

There must be some way to tell them apart.
