Make the Fallout 4 DJ a Chick

Post » Fri Nov 27, 2015 2:49 pm

When I was a kid I used to listen to Yvonne Daniels. I think I first heard her in the late 50's. I know for sure I was listening to her by the 60's. I've also heard of Alison Steele. I think she may have begun her career in the 60's, though.

I'm quite the opposite. During my time with Fallout 3 had it where silence frightened me, and 3Dog made me feel more at ease while in the metros. I became quite attached to box 3Dog and Mr New Vegas as characters, even if one is s computer playing music.

If it has to be a female my vote goes to Karis Campbell. Who does is the DJ in Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines.

That's actually the first one I thought of, though I'm not sure that kind of sultry voice really fits the wastelands.

Nah, she'd be like a female version of Mr. New Vegas :)

3 Dog was okay. A female who is hyper energetic and somewhat loopy like Moira would be great. Probably won't happen, though.

Best Friend Tabitha, yes  Though she was a technically a quest, there was an unnamed Super Mutant as the "host". And Black Mountain Radio had pretty limited coverage.

oh yes BRILLANT idea :-)

a rather deep, smokey voice though, please.

not the hyperactive squeaky type, that'd be the opposite of an improvement...

I was kind of a fan of the female radio host from Tropico 5. Although she could become rather annoying, I did however like her accent.

And get the filler DJ? No, I actually want one that has been specifically designed for Fallout 4, not the limited placeholder.

A female voiced by Courtenay Taylor since she can change her accent.

Male, female, robot, I don't care. I just don't want an annoying DJ. If they made a female moeblob DJ, I'd stop using the in-game radio.

Hey. He's not just a computer. If you have Wild Wasteland on, he says he once tried the machine you use at the start of the game to set your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. to see what his charisma was and it exploded.

That obvliously means he's a funny guy, r-right?

Troll? Gender does not dictate an entertaining personality.

Entertainment value is subjective and I'm just not usually entertained by women.

Well I'll have to agree that well-written female characters are in a shorter supply. Hence a lower tendency to expect entertaining women, if that is what you are getting at. I thought you implied that gender had a correlation to an entertaining personality by itself.
