Fallout 4 melee combo system

Should Fallout 4 have some kind of combo system between heavy and light attacks? Or some kind of different combo system?

It would be nice to have Melee combos instead of just Unarmed ones. If they haven't put one in at this point it's not going to happen, but maybe next time...

Yeah I think they should add a melee combo system if possible.

It would be interesting, just as long as isn't done as some kid of uncontrollable qte.

Melee combat certainly needs to be beefed up from Skyrim/FO3.

I really do hope so...

Would be a great addition to Unarmed and Melee... And will make them even more viable.

After all, what's nicer than combos with Power Fists and Rocket-powered Sledgehammers?

Melee and unarmed was pretty lethal in f3 if you built your guy to be a close quarter scrapper. Though I think Vegas blew it away with the unarmed and melee weapons being varied and some were extremely lethal when combined with rather low level perks "Super Slam'? anyone?

"Ranger Takedown" is a ridiculously useful (and easy) technique to get :D

Still want to get into a real boxing match at a bar. Probably won't happen.

I will be satisfied if the ragdoll physics react to melee hits properly. What the showed in the trailers looks promising.

That's really the realm of PC combat training ~skill. FO4 does not seem to have skills.

Would be pretty easy to lift that from Skyrim.

Did you play those in the originals? There was a boxing ring in Junktown, and two in New Reno; one in San Francisco.

It would need improving. And would they do it?

Mm. And it needs to be resurrected in a dynamic volumetric lighting setting. :frog:

in FO2, unarmed skill paid off, since the fights did not allow any equipment in the ring, except boxing gloves.
(Although it was possible in the game to acquire boxing gloves with steel plates in them, for those inclined to cheat at the fights.)

If you won the fights, your PC became the local boxing champ, and people in the street would recognize them, and call out their ring name.

I can't recall any more boring and pointless aspect of Skyrim than the moronic brawling mini-game.....I'll pass if that's what they call boxing.
