xbox one wireless adapter support? :( Help : Fallout 4

I just got my xbox one wireless adapter and I dont understand why fallout 4 wont respond to the controls. Some one please help me.

Mine works fine...are you in Win10? The x1 wireless requires Windows 10. Does it work in other games? You might also try unplugging any joysticks or other controllers in case dxinput is reading them as controller 1 over the x1
