I really wish they would just give us the real dimensions of the opening so we can see for sure if what ever phones we have will fit.

I have a LG G Pro lite. and its slightly bigger than an iphone 6.

I like how hush hush they are being about the fallout 4 pipboy, really why would you not give any specs about it, because they just want you to buy it and figure it out on your own after you have made the sale.

They had one on display so they do have a finished product to show us, why not just tell us more about it, you are asking us to drop $120 on this thing not including tax.....

so without foam does that mean i can fit a slightly larger phone. not all phones are the same exact length and width.

some can share the same length but be a little wider.

I'm more interested in them adding the ability to use it on my iPad Air. I have a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard you see, so I can have my iPad sitting next to me and it's a lot more comfortable to click on that large screen than my Sony Z2's smallish 5.2" screen when I need to use the pipboy in-game.

The app should work on anything.

What people are up in arms about is that for some reason, they expect to fit the literal phone book they call a smart phone into it.

Hmm im guessing bethesda will not release this info at all then...

they want you to figure it out when you buy the game and open it up.

so its a gamble. just wait when it releases, we will hear more of it on the internet "my phone doesnt fit" threads and articles about how HTC phones dont fit, or maybe certain LG phones....
