Fallout 4 LAPTOP FULLSCREEN FLICKERING PROBLEM

Post » Sat Nov 28, 2015 12:27 am

After you launch the setup and then you press play, if you chose fullscreen, the game flickers and is simply unplayable, epilepsy attack (jeez)

So i have found a solution which makes your game start up in borderless mode, however its a simple temporary fix, you may lose fps because of it, but the game becomes playable.

The fix -
go to C:\Users[name]\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\fallout4prefs.ini (make a backup of the original fallout4prefs.ini , just incase )
And then Change some line to
bTopMostWindow=1
bMaximizeWindow=1
bBorderless=1
bFull Screen=0
iSize H= "your resolution"
iSize W= "your resolution"
and then save and close , then click on properties and set it to read only so the game doesnt modify it.

What im looking for is an actual fix for the problem, i want to play it properly in fullscreen where i can get max fps and can properly minimize my game when i want to. If you have the solution please post it here.
