I have an odd issue where my character's vision is stuck in Night Vision mode. Can anyone suggest a method as to how to fix this bug? My character is 34 and I'd rather not have to restart do to this bug. The game is simply unplayable during daylight hours due to glare.

I have the same problem, but with the recon scope black and white view. I think it happened when I quickly switched weapons after coming out of scope view or something. Nothing I do gets me out of the black and white view.

Hopefully there is a fix for this. There is a flag set somewhere that is stuck. I'm hoping there is a console command I/we can use to set us back to normal vision.

Found a fix via Fallout 4 Nexus

Enter the Console via the Tilde key (~)

rimod 00094636 OR rimod 002041B6

The first one removed the Nightvision and allowes it to work normally when sighting down the NV scope. I am unsure which code will work for the Recon scope.
